Inspiring.  Encouraging.  Inclusive.

Inspiring. Encouraging.   Inclusive.

Rev Dr Stephanie Dowrick writes and teaches on the most fundamental questions of all: how could you and I live in greater harmony and appreciation with ourselves, one another, and our awesome physical universe? She is an original thinker, a creative writer, a pioneer – trained in psychotherapy, ministry, and academic research, as well as benefitting from living in a number of different countries and working as a humanitarian activist.

From 2000-2021, Rev Dr Stephanie Dowrick led retreats at the Mana Retreat Centre, Coromandel, New Zealand – the source of many of the Retreat Talks links that follow. She continues to offer spiritual support and direction and combines this life of writing and inclusive ministry with her equal passion for contemporary psychological/social research and insight.

Stephanie Dowrick has a lifelong commitment to inclusive, life-affirming spirituality. She was ordained as an Interfaith Minister at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in NYC in 2005. From 2006-2017/8 she led spiritually inclusive services at the Pitt Street Uniting Church in Sydney, then, during Covid, with Professor Kim Cunio, she led global services online until 2021-2. Many of the Video links below come from that time and remain fresh and relevant whenever they are viewed.
