Stephanie Dowrick is proud to be an ambassador for IWDA and BCNA. The International Women's Development Agency
undertakes practical, co-operative projects in partnership
with women from around the world, working for women and their families
suffering poverty, ill-health and personal and gender oppression. This
is a small organisation doing invaluable work among the world's most
vulnerable and needy and raising awareness of why gender
issues remain crucial. Stephanie is proud also
to be on the current Board of IWDA. Please consider becoming a DONOR and helping women and their communities. http://www.iwda.org.au
Breast Cancer Network of Australia - http://www.bcna.org.au
- offers information and direct practical support to breast cancer
sufferers and their families and support people. BCNA also lobbies powerfully and successfully on behalf of those
with breast cancer. (In the photo Stephanie is with Lyn Swinburne,
founder and CEO of BCNA.) Regular free workshops are offered
nationally - Stephanie takes part in many of these. They also include invaluable medical information and BCNA support.
For more information please call: Freecall: 1800 500 258. A "Hope & Hurdles" kit is available free to all women suffering from secondary breast cancer.
